Idaho Grants for Families: How the Empowering Parents Program Can Help Your Child
Many families in Idaho are searching for ways to help their children succeed in school, especially when it comes to reading.
If your child struggles with reading, whether due to a learning disability or ineffective interventions, there’s good news!
The Idaho Empowering Parents Grant Program provides financial assistance to families so they can access high-quality tutoring services.
And now, I’m excited to announce that I am an approved vendor for this program!
What is the Idaho Empowering Parents Grant?
The Idaho Empowering Parents Grant helps families cover the cost of tutoring and educational services for students ages 5-18, whether they attend public school, private school, or are homeschooled. the Idaho grants for families ensures that children who need extra support—especially in critical subjects like reading—can get the help they need, regardless of their family’s financial situation.
Grant funds can be used for tutoring, educational materials, and other learning resources to support student success. The program prioritizes families based on income, starting with those who earn $60,000 or less per year, then expanding to households earning up to $75,000 per year, and finally opening up to additional families if funds remain.
How My Tutoring Services Can Help
I specialize in helping children who are not reading at grade level.
Whether your child has been diagnosed with a reading learning disability or has simply struggled to keep up, my goal is to close the reading gap and make reading easier for them.
One of my students, Ruby, is a perfect example.

She started first grade with excitement, but as the year went on, she began to struggle with reading and fell to the bottom 25% of her class. After just three months of tutoring, she entered second grade at the top of her class! Later, when she faced new challenges in fourth grade, we worked together again to help her master comprehension skills. Today, she is thriving.
